A Vision of Charity and Lasting Benefit

Datepalm Foundation is the charitable arm of the Itowala family and its associated business entities.

The foundation was established in line with the vision of our late benefactor and respected father, Haji Ahmed Suleman Itowala رحمه الله, who initiated and strongly emphasised the need for a structured institution dedicated to religious and charitable causes. His vision was to serve the noble religion of Islam, support Muslim organisations, and benefit the wider community.

Although the foundation was formally registered after the demise of our respected father, it stands as the fulfilment of his vision and bequest. It serves as a means of earning perpetual reward (Sadaqah Jariyah) for the entire family and aims to inspire future generations to continue this legacy of supporting religious and noble causes.

By the grace and mercy of Almighty Allah, the foundation also functions as the corporate social responsibility arm of the Itowala family business enterprises.
